PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: This is an adorable antique doll dress. Made of white batiste cotton with a high yoke. Front and back yoke has a center insert of lovely openwork lace flanked on either side with batiste cotton. There are shoulder straps tacked down made of openwork lace, an insert of batiste fabric then trimmed along the outside edges with Valenciennes lace. These shoulder straps measure about 3 1/2 in. wide. Two pale blue ribbon bows decorate the lower front straps. Square neckline. Short set-in sleeves of batiste fabric with inserts of matching openwork lace then trimmed at the edge with batiste cotton. Skirt has boxed pleats and made of batiste fabric with delicate little embroidered flowers starting midway and down. Pin back closure. Darling doll dress and in wonderful condition. Please read condition and measurements below and look at all of the photos as they are part of the description. CONDITION : Excellent condition. There is a repair to the batiste strip on the back right shoulder strap as shown in photo #6. Lace is excellent with no holes. The rest of the dress has no holes, tears or repairs that I could find. A few light stains on the front skirt below the lace trimmed straps. You can see this in photo #2.
