Antique Battersea Enamel Bilston South Staffordshire Patch Box circa 1780-1800 Offered for auction is a Battersea or Bilston South Staffordshire enamel box with white and black enamel decoration of a bird on urn with a script above that states " We Live in Hope". There is a dent in the area of the script with a slight bit of loss to the right end. There are also a couple of faint dents near the front, but they look like they may have always been there. There is some light roughness around the top of the base where the metal rim is, a couple of minor impact spots on the base and typical surface wear. There is also a ton of natural wear on the base where it sits as you would expect to find. Overall a very nice looking box in better than average condition. Measures 1&5/8" by 1&1/2", 1" deep. (all little white spots are light spots from the photography) Check out the photos!!!! Attention International bidders! Please check your shipping costs before you bid. They can be very expensive..
