Any bright white spots in the pictures are caused by lighting unless noted otherwise. Description: This came from a set of china owned by a 92 year old woman who inherited it from her aunt. She has had the china for over 60 years but doesn't know how long her aunt had it. Most all of the marks date it to the very early 1900's. This gorgeous salt dip is 100% hand painted with the most amazing detail in such a small piece! The violets are painted with excellent artistry and detail. This is a pedestal salt dip. The whole inside is gilded in gold. This will surely please all the salt dip and violet collectors out t! If you like fine china with violets please check out the other fine pieces I purchased from this same person. Signed K J Prior. It is 1 ¼" tall and just under 2" in diameter at the top. No cracks or chips. T is very little gold loss either. Inside does have some minor scratching from use. I was told that all the china was actually used by her aunt.
