This wonderful Victorian tea cozy is in just about perfect condition! It features a tea set worked in beads on both sides. The cups are sitting on top of some sort of animal head, I can't determine what. The tea pot and cups are elaborately detailed in grisaille colors, with colored beads and faceted metal beads as accents. T are no missing beads. The border around the design is also worked in beads. The background is burgundy wool needlepoint, no fading or missing stitches. The cord around the edges of the cozy is in perfect, new condition. The inside is not lined or padded, and perhaps this was never used, accounting for it's fantastic condition! Measures approx. 11" x 14". Please ask questions before bidding.
