This is a beautiful antique Belgium-Flemish wall tapestry, signed J. Stevaert. The scene is French Victorian of two young people dancing the minuet in the parlor with adults watching. T is a musician playing the violin and a lady serving tea. This has a floral border and is a vertical tapestry measuring 56 inches tall and 37 inches wide. The front lower right corner is signed J. Stevaert, the top has a pocket sewn for a rod to use for hanging. It is in excellent condition, no tears, thin spots, rips. or snags anyw we can see. We have purchased many very unique and interesting items at an estate sale liquidating the inventory of another antique shop. These items are very clean and excellent quality.
