T his auction is for an excellent antique ornate cast iron claw foot hand crank sewing machine manufactured by the Bergmann & Hüttemeier Sewing Machine Company In Copenhagen, Denmark in the late 1800's. The machine still has some of its gold leaf decals present. The machine moves freely & smoothly. It has an excellent figural case iron claw foot base. It swings open for a storage area underneath. The original shuttle is also included. There is a small piece chipped off where the hand is screwed into the wheel. This does not affect function in any way.Dimensions: 15" x 10 1/2" x 7 1/2" Please use the pictures to determine the actual condition of the sewing machine as the photo's take precedence over any written description. This would make an excellent addition to any antique sewing machine collection.
