Bible with gilt edges, in very good condition but of course shows some signs of age. From a run of 12 thousand bibles commissioned on 2nd November 1857, published by James Cowan as shown in the photo.The only mark anywhere throughout the bible is a pencil mark in the back which says 'This belongs to G. Thorbury'
