These little wood blocks are shaped into books, lithographed, front and back. They were made in the late 1800's and early 1900's by the Bliss Co of Rhode Island. They are each 2 7/8" high, 2 1/2" wide, and 1/2" front to back. All together, side by side, they measure 8 1/4" long. There is a total of 16 books. The first one has AB on the binding, the next has CD, etc. The last two have numbers on the binding. The pictures on each book are lovely depictions of animals and small children. There are some wear spots, but very good for the age. These could be great additions to any toy museum.
