Antique Blown FLINT GLASS BOSTON SANDWICH NEGC Rose Engraved CELERY VASE C 1850A beautifully engraved early to mid 19th century flint glass celery vaseWas likely produced by either the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co or New England Glass CoThe vase was hand blown and features a ground and polished pontil on the base. Has a long ring when thumbedThe engraving features a rose plant design inside stippled borders. Stem is knopped and applied to foot and bowlMeasures 8 3/4" tallThere is a flat flake from the inside of the top lip and a tiny pinhead sized flake along the rimNeither distract from displayA rare and beautiful 1850's blown flint glass celery vase
