Antique Blown Glass Font, Applied Handle Whale Oil Chamberstick Lamp, c. 1850. This whale oil lamp is very attractive with a blown glass font, with an early blown glass applied handle. The handle has a crimped end where it attaches to the lamp. This lamp has a brass collar. The lamp is missing it's burner. This blown glass lamp is offered with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The lamp measures 4 7/16" H. (to the top of the collar), x 3 1/2" Dia. at the base. The burner opening is 7/8" Dia.. CONDITION: The lamp is in very good condition with some minor wear to the base. There are also the imperfections often found in early flint glass of this period. This includes, bubbles, sand, and striations. I have a picture of a bubble on the base. SHIPPING: Buyer pays actual shipping costs based upon the 1 pound and 11 ounces weight and postal zone.
