This auction is for an Antique Blown Glass Whale Oil Hand Lamp, Applied Crimped Handle, Original Camphene Burner, c. 1835 - 1850. The lamp is a very attractive blown glass whale oil hand lamp; with an early blown glass applied handle with a crimped edge with a unique twist to the bottom edge. It has a polished blown pontil on the base. It also has a pewter collar at the top with it's original camphene burner.
