An old amber glass target ball. It has a raised diamondpattern and around the middle it has written “Bogardus Glass Ball Pat’d APR 10 1877”. There are 2 seam lines visible. I understand these were used for target practice. Most were destroyed so this item is not very common. I do not know much about these so please contact me with any questions. Condition: Very good. Glass is good and not cloudy or dirty. No cracks or chips except on the end of the stem that has a few chips. I believe this is common and may have been done in the making. There is a small ¼ inch circle from a manufacturing bubble in the middle under the word glass. Feels a little rough on the edges of that spot but it is on the surface and minor. There are a few bubbles inside, most on the very bottom. See photos. Size: about 3 inches in diameter and 3/8 inch stem Weight: 1/2 lb packaged Buyer pays actual shipping plus a $2 fee that includes insurance. I usually mail items through the USPS and send them priority. If the item has to be in a large box the post office may charge an extra fee in that case I will send it UPS. The price should be about the same as quoted. I will refund over payments for shipping. If you do not want it sent priority or UPS just let me know. I accept Paypal and will gladly combine shipping if the items can be packaged together. International read more
