Description Pretty Exotic Bird Decorated Plate, produced in the 19th Century by Booths Pottery from England. Decorated with an image of an exotic bird, with fish scale, cobalt blue patterning and pierced borders. Further embellished with 'Rococo' inspired gilded patterning. Not marked but shows all the attributes of an early Booths piece, please view additional photographs below. There is a 2" section to the reticulated rim that has been detached and re-glued (photographed below), and there is some fine surface crazing, conducive with age. Otherwise, in very good condition with no other chips, cracks or restoration .It measures approximately 9¼" in diameter.
