Blown Flint Glass Decanter (Bottle) Boston & Sandwich Georgian to Early Victorian Era circa 1828 - 1835 PLEASE NOTE: GLASS IS MUCH DARKER IN PERSON Exquisite Cobalt Blue Decanter Boston & Sandwich, approx c1830, hand blown with pontil (blow pipe) mark on bottom. It is 10" tall. Parallels Barlow & Kaiser, plate 2038. True color is the darkest blue you can imagine with a hint of purple. Original matching stopper. MINT PRISTINE CONDITION As perfect as the day it was made, about 170 years ago. Not even a scratch - absolutely perfect. Interior is as clean as a whistle with no issues. Unmentionable -- the stopper is straight in only 1 position. (This is from being hand blown -- no worries, it is the original stopper). The base was made separately & applied.
