Here's a Large Old Bowie Knife. Blade is about 13" long. It has gutta percha Grips with busts of classical figures. Nickle plated pommel and guard. Blade has 2 fullers. Its marked LUCKHAUS & GUNTHER REMSCHEID no 923 with a trademark of lamb with cross and flag in circle . Scabbard is brown embossed leather nickel plated tip and throat. Embossed frog. Frog stud has woman portrait form. There is writing in ink on back of frog I can see no 923, the rest is not easily ledgible. Condition of knife and scabbard is Very Good. Knife measures just over 17 1/2" long.
