unique little antique brass balance scale mounted on a piece of molded wood...wood has a beautiful color....the scale has not been polished or cleaned but would polish to a beautiful sheen if desired....the scale is small and the overall size of the wood is about 10 in. by five and one half inches.....i think the wood was included as part of the original manufacturing......i am not sure what the purpose of the scale was....possibly a chemist scale or a postal scale.....the scale is not marked and still works.....no dents, scratches or other damage.....there are 4 small weights with the scale...all are brass.....if any one readeing this and knows what this scale was used or manufactured for....would you please email me....if i had more info i think i would polish it and keep it..........thanks.....ron
