On offer here is a late 19 th to early 20 th century brass box. I must admit I am lost as for the use of this item, it is stunning and sweet, the front is engraved ( Gachous Anamatiques, Made in England by Mornv Regent Street London ) reading this I think the box might have been for a medicine or sweet of some sort but not sure advise more than welcome thank you. The box however is very collectable the lid slides up and down but does not come off. It reveals an opening that your sweet or tablet could fall out of , the brass has a stunning colour exactly what you want to see on antique brass and the fact you have the advertising of the item, the makers name and the retailers as regent st Londonthis is a very interesting piece. It measures at approx 40 by 30 mm closed.
