From an old Pennsylvania farmhouse estate,right out of the attic, Antique Brass Cylinder Clockwork Hearth Rotisserie with hanging cast iron rack and Brass Key. key is stamped British Made. The Rotisserie is From the late 1700's early 1800's era ,Brass cylinder has a Keywound Clockwork Mechanism Marked on the top of the Rosisserie is 25 Salter & Co. Warranted ,.It is in working condition, turns around one way and than the other way. Condition is good for the age has dings a few dents and surface pitina,needs cleand and polished ,no cap to cover the key hole .They were usually used in fire places and camp fires to cook food all day. Cylinder measures approx. 13 1/2" long ,Black cast iron meat ring measures 7" wide . Please look at the pictures selling in estate found condition.Please email me with any questions. 04.04.004
