This is a Torpedo Shell, General Quick Aid Fire Guard, model TF4 fir extinguisher. It has a brass cap, and and a brass inspection tag showing the last time it was inspected was in 1961. The hose and nozzle are good, and this is a 2 1/2 gal. extinguisher. It does have the insert and lead stopper which are pictured. T are a few dents but nothing major, and the top rail of the cap is not perfect. This extinguisher is polished, and both face plates are intact. This is a really nice piece, and a great addition to any collection, a little piece of history. This item weighs appox. 15 lbs. I am a professional fire fighter and have been collecting fire fighting collectibles for about 11 years now. You will see many items from me on e-bay as I am thinning out my collection which is overflowing from my "museum room". I will be starting the bids on all of my items at the minimum I will take for them, and I am not trying to jerk anyone around with exuberant shipping and HANDLING charges, which I have noticed seems to be happening on e-bay lately. I charge only actual shipping charges and a flat $ 3.00 for packaging and to help defray my cost. I just wanted to be upfront about the way I do business.
