An antique , early 19th century , Possibly 18th century brass bookbinding finishing tool. Used to apply patterns and gilding to finished leather bindings . Intricate pattern for decorative borders . Named on the shaft Timbury - active first late 18th century to first quarter of the 19th century . Mounted on a wooden handle . Very detailed and intricate design as would be expected from an antique tool. Size of head approx 13mm x 12mm. NO RESERVE I will combine postage where possible
