The Shipping calculation may not be correct! Please read the entire description to get all the information about shipping for this lot. We are finalizing the cleanout of a deceased collector this week. Here is a steeple clock by Brewster & Ingrahams. The movement has the cast iron back and is in excellent condition. The glass covering the dial is cracked. The glass over the pendulum, however, is excellent. There is veneer damage to the case—see the pictures. The case stands just under twenty inches tall. All the clocks being offered this week came directly from a collector’s house and do appear to be clean and in good repair. All that said, these are all offered “as is-where is” with absolutely no guarantee whatever, other than clear title (not really a title, but assured ownership). . This lot will be sent Parcel Post. It will weigh about twelve pounds and be somewhat oversized. I will send an invoice within a couple of hours after closing of the auction. The invoice will reflect the Parcel Post charges plus a six buck surcharge. This surcharge is to cover packing costs, insurance and delivery confirmation. If the high bidder wins more than one lot this week, if possible they will be packed together and there might be a savings in postage. However the surcharge will be applicable for each lot. The lot will be shipped with full insurance and delivery confirmation. EBay no longer allows the seller to collect for this the costs of insurance and delivery confirmation, thus the surcharge. There is absolutely no guarantee either stated or implied with or for this particular lot. This paragraph addresses some final comments about shipping. If, once payment has been completed and the clock has been shipped, it is shown that the invoiced shipping costs were incorrect by as much as a buck or two, I will refund any overages to the winning high bidder. It might be nice for, if the reverse happens to be true, the high bidder to consider covering additional costs. The lot will be shipped with full insurance and delivery confirmation. If the high bidder wins more than one lot this week, if possible I will combine lots to possibly take advantage of a little less shipping cost. Local pickup is always an option. If possible I will get the lot packed before the auction ends and will post actual weights and dimensions where applicable. Shipping costs refund: The actual shipping costs and those determined by the eBay shipping calculator may well be different unless the lot will fit in a Priority Mail Flat Rate Box. I will happily refund any overage (anything more than a buck or so) when shipping is completed.
