Antique Bronze Chinese Oriental Champleve Serpent Lamp Magnificent Best Antique Bronze Chinese Oriental Champleve Lamp with Dragon Serpent Handles. The shade and finial are later added contemporary pieces but the lamp base is guaranteed very old. It has the original mahogany base section and the main body of the lamp is fine sculpted cast bronze or brass metal with beautiful colors. It has an early electrical plug that works and is still in fine clean condition so you will not have to rewire, it can be used safely just as you see it. The 2 bulb sockets are a newer replacement and both work perfectly. It measures about 24 1/2" to the top of the finial; the base only is about 14 1/2" tall; the actual bronze part is 12" high and about 7 1/2" wide; the wood base is 7 1/4" wide. The white fabric shade with frill edge is quite nice looking and goes well with this lamp. I will guarantee the lamp base is a genuine old vintage item of museum quality craftsmanship.
