Albion Antiek Antique Pottery Razor Box ca. 1840 Brown Transferware Staffordshire This listing is for a beautiful antique English brown transferware pottery razor box. This one was made by Minton ca. 1840 and the pattern is "Chinese Marine". It measures 7-3/4" long, 3-1/4" wide and 2-1/4" high. There is a chip on the underside edge of the lid, also a few tiny fleabites and glaze loss on the edges, but as you can see in the pictures these flaws are really not detracting from the appearance of this rare piece of brown transferware. There is no other damage and there have been no repairs or restoration. If you like brown transferware you will love this piece! Please excuse any glares (white patches) that you may see in the pictures, these are caused by reflections of light on the glaze and are not on the actual object itself. Please note that I am located in the United Kingdom (London, England) which means that this item will be shipped from Europe.
