This is a large, antique, stoneware crock jug, made in the late 1800s/early 1900s, with a white bottom and a very dark brown top. The two colors are separated by a gold colored band. T is a blue 6 inside a star inside a circle on the white portion of the crock. This type of pottery is very sturdy and heavy. It measures approx. 8" diameter at the opening, 12" diameter at the base, is 17 1/2" tall and weighs 26 lbs. Please feel free to email with any questions. Thanks for looking!
