Antique Brunswick Butterfly Splice 2 piece pool cue from the 1930's. This great find sat in the case you see for many years untouched with the rosin bag you see. There is no fading to the butterfly inlays. Amazing condition for it's age. Purchased from the wife of the original Chicago area owner who ran a pool league in the South Chicago area until the 1960's. There is no tip on the ferrule otherwise this would measure over 58" from bumper to tip. The shaft measures 28 1/2" and then you can add another 1 1/2" to that for the shaft bolt. The butt measures 28 3/4" without the bumper and is very thick in the grip end. Marked 16oz between the butterfly inlays as seen in the photos. Over all very beautiful condition, probably thanks to seeing no UV light for several decades and having that Chicago Palisades Bowl Rosin bag in the case, (which in itself is very collectable). There is the chip to the butt end as seen in the photos, other than that, I do not see any other impacts. The finish on this is amazing and untouched original. The shaft has a slight curve to it and some staining or discoloration to the finish half way down, I'd hit fine with it. One very amazing cue in very amazing condition. No separation of the butterfly inlays. Very Bright red. Cues like this belong in billiard museums. This is an antique cue so it's Sold, AS-IS, read more
