Splendid 4 1/4" blue top cream pot with picture of a cow's head and milkmaid. Dates to around 1905. Reads "This cream contains a small quality of borox preservative to prolong its sweetness. Made in England". According to Antique Bottles Magazine article on printed pots dated August 2006 "Cream pots were generally returned to the diary and refilled over and over. The blue lipped Buttercup Cream pots are rated scare and desirable as they are not only older but have a really nice picture." Thank you and any questions please ask. Check out my other items !
