Please see photo's and for condition.You can be absolutely certain that you are looking at a very fine and rare genuine and authentic butterscotch egg yolk amber bead necklace that is totally original. This has not been re-strung nor any beads added, taken off or repaired in any way, it is just as we acquired it from an old estate. The clasp is a round gold colored fastener ring type clasp that is also totally original. See photo's for Salt Water test. True Amber does not sink! It Floats. Note the metal part of the necklace will cause the necklace to weigh down a tad. Measures : 17 inches long (43.5cm)Bead Measurements: Largest bead 24mm x 19mm. Weight : 31 grams. Number of Beads: 29 beads. Summary : Lovely old amber bead necklace. General good condition, some expected nibbles at bead holes, and one small nick.
