Carl Thieme, Potschappel porcelain vase.A gilt metal mounted Carl Thieme, Potschappel porcelain vase and cover painted with flower sprays. A lovely vase in excellent condition no chips, cracks or restoration work. Blue stamp at the bottom of the vase which is under glaze. Measurements: Height: 20 cm Width: 14 cm Date: Circa 1890 Carl Thieme founded his porcelain factory in Potschappel near Dresden in 1872 and this vase is a good example of the wares made there during the latter part of the 19th century.
