Antique Camelback Steamer TrunkThis Trunk is in exceptional original condition except for some minor repairs that included having the to leather straps on either side replaced, the locking mechanism has been replaced with new key included and some basic exterior cleaning of the embroidered steel covering the majority of the exterior of the trunk. The interior comes with the original utility tray constructed by manufacturer additionally some of the exposed would areas have been covered with an industrial type paper but not entirely. The interior of the trunk depending on the usage could use perhaps some type of superficial modification that could include paining or re-papering as was originally produced.The exterior of this trunk is in exceptional beauty with its patterned decorative steel and original wood slats in excellent condition, and eyecatcher by anyone’s standard . Among the many different sizes of trunks this one would be considered basically a midsized trunk in exceptional next to original condition.
