CHECK OUT THE DETAILS IN THE BIRD HEADS. THE LATCH DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE HOLDING THIS CLOSED, THE LITTLE NIB IS MISSING. DOES NOT DETRACT FROM THE BEAUTY AND QUIRKINESS OF THE PIECE AT ALL.
