We are please to offer this Antique Candle Lighting Devise, Circa 1770 . It is an authentic early Church Wardenâe(tm)s lighting device that was used and found in Lebanon , New Hampshire . The function of this piece was to light the Chandeliers and other candle lighting in the old Colonial Church in the beautiful center of town. It is made of Wrought Iron by one of our local blacksmiths and even has a handmade ring on the maple shaft to hang it up on the wall when not in use. Apparently this early piece had a lot of use since it shows a lot of wear on the under side of the drip pan. The handle is 19 1⁄2 inches long and the candle cup extends out another 5 inches, and is 3 1⁄2 inches wide Buyer pays actual shipping to your shipping zone and insurance.
