Presented for your consideration this antique brass candlestick telephone with ringer box. Just plug it in and you are talking on a genuine antique telephone. We tested it, and were able to dial and and receive a call. The candlestick phone is brass and has a dial. Back of the mouthpiece says PATENTED IN U.S.A. NOVEMBER 1910 . There is the number 51AI on the back of the neck. Patent dates around the bottom rim of the base are JAN 26 15 / JAN 1 18 / MAY 7 18 / SEPT 21 20. The center of the dial says AMERICAN TELEPHONE & TELEGRAPH CO. AND ASSOCIATED COMPANIES, LOCAL AND LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE BELL SYSTEM. The box has been rewired to work with today's contemporary hookup and has both a modern cord and two brown fabric covered cords (see photos).
