Antique Carnelian StoneTop Silver Thimble German * Circa 1900 This solid silver thimble has an embossed rim and a wide band engraved "JSLET SILVER". I'm not sure of the significance of that as it doesn't look like a name. The only mark it has is "800" which indicates that it's 800/1000 pure silver . It's about an American size 9. The top is set with a real carnelian stone with dimpled carving. The condition is excellent with no holes or repairs . The stone is perfect with no chips or cracks. The cartouche in front is not engraved.
