CARVED HORN AND STERLING SILVER NECKLACE Up for auction is this beautiful antiquenecklace that was given to my Grandmother many years ago. This necklace is made from what I am assuming to be water buffalo horn and sterling silver (stamped .925). The hand carved design on the face of the horn is of two Chinese Dragons facing each other over a hill or mountain top. The detail on the dragons is amazing; each scale is carved and the craftsmanship is amazing. You do not see things like this every day. The carved horn portion is roughly 2.8 cm at its widest point and 12 cm across the top to the center were the chain is attached. With the chain open and spread it measures about 14.25 inches in length. The Dollar is not included.
