Up for adoption is this beautiful very much loved antique Coffee/Grist Mill/Grinder I was given this mill 22 years ago from a friend in Colorado. She owned an antique store and this was one of the items she kept when closing her store many years earlier. She gave it to me as a gift for catering her granddaughters wedding. I don't know the age or what for sure its called. She called it a coffeee grinder or grist mill. She said it was used in a country store to grind coffee or corn. Its is very heavy weighing 16 lbs. I have a small grandchild and I am afraid he will pull it over on himself. Plus I am moving and they charge by the weight! I have never ground anything in it. I have only used it for decoration. I don't think it grinds anymore. It does have a griding wheel inside but it looks loose. From the base to the top of the bowl 13 1/2" the Grinding wheel is 12" across. Its a beauitul antique I have loved it for my country Kitchen. Good luck and happy bidding!
