This wonderful , antique spread wing eagle is quite nice and in very good condition. My last group of pictures were taken with a flash so you could see the fine detail on the piece. The first pictures are the actual patina of this old piece. T is much detail showing feathers on his body and wings. A very nice ebayer just sent the following info to me: what you have is what was used on a metal pitched roofs to hold the snow back from sliding off onto someones head !! the are refered to as snow birds ....dan .
