ESTATE FIND !!! This very old cast iron perpetual desk calendar . The calendar stands 5 1/2 inches tall , the bottom of the base measures 3 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches . It is all cast iron with wood dowels that turn the paper rolls , month , day , and date . Really neat piece made like the old cast iron banks only it is a calendar . Condition of the cast iron is very good no chips or cracks , traces of the original gold paint , wood dowels intact , paper rolls inside as you would expect stained from age , the month and day are complete and working , the center date roll is like a scroll two center dowels feels as if the paper is very brittle i did not try to turn it very far thought it might rip . My have to replace the paper on it if you are going to use it . Very nice decorative antique for your collection . Check all 7 pictures to be sure of what you are bidding on please .
