This pistol looks like it was made by the Lytle Novelty Company but it wasn't. It is a totally non-firing toy with a solid barrel and looks exactly like that ones that Lytle produced but this one is in cast iron. It is really heavy and not cast aluminum. It has two screws at the base of the handle but I don't know what they are for. It is in excellent condition and weights about 4 pounds. The only way that this toy would hurt someone is if they dropped it on their foot. If anyone knows any info about this toy, please contact me.
