Listed is a very old drawing. At first I thought it was a photograph but looking closer I think it may be some type of drawing(pencil/charcoal?) I really don't know what it is because I know nothing about art. It measures 16X20 inches. There is a #76 on the table where the figures hand is resting. This could be a 1776, 1876 date or a division number. I really don't know. The drawing appears to be a military figure. He could be American or possible German. There is also a crown of some sort on the table. The estate where I purchased this from stated the family was from Germany. I don't know is this was a family member or not. The drawing is very aged. The water stains add interest to the drawing but use of an oval matting might hide the marks if wanted. It is unsigned. It is a very unique(one of a kind) piece of history and should be placed in a safe area where others can enjoy it. Please email with any questions that you may have before placing a bid.
