This is an absolutely fantastic work by listed artisr Charles Appel. It is one of his more desirable styles of a tonalist Landscape. It is fresh from orig family owners estate. It looks to be in orig period gilt Frame as well. It is in very good condition. It has a backing on it that I have not removed for inspection, but looks to be in excellent condition. The painting framed measures 19 1/2“ x 25 3/4”, the Painting itself 14 1/2“ x 20 1/2“. It looks to have a figure in the foreground next to a stream, with a road leading off to the distance and possibly silhouetted house? It really is a beautiful piece! Please email with any questions you may have. Buyer will include $45 for shipping.
