Vintage Chase Ivory Chromium Tidy Table Crumber Silent Butler Crumb Tray 1930's Tidy Crumbers made by Chase Brass and Copper Co.,chromium copper & bakelite, 1937, Waterbury, CT. This is a true antique 1930s Bakelite Crumber with Brush, also known as a Silent Butler. Ivory bakelite handles. Two chrome stars on tray handle and brush. Natural fiber on brush. Tray measures 9" across at widest point, brush 5''. Brush nestles into tray for storage. Very good overall condition with no major flaws, but scratching on face and back of tray , see the pictures.
