Up for auction is an antique chatelaine thimble case.This case is made of a shell and has a mother of pearl surface and with thimble inside.The silver chain holding the case is approximately 12 " long. I do not see any markings on this piece, but it was tarnished and I lightly polished both the chain and the trim on the case.This, and other vintage sewing items, came from the estate of a woman in her 90's.
