You are bidding on an Antique Chic French Louis XVI Gilded King Size Bed. This is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and we believe it dates back to the earlier - mid 20th Century part from France. This bed is BEAUTIFULLY carved with gilded accents all throughout with a beautiful open caneback design with a shell crested floral Acnathus leaf at the top of each side with beautiful rosettes and fluted columns all carved with gilded accent trim. Each side has tall columns that do come off for easier transportation and have finial shaped ends. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that is made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique and has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall its in excellent shape.
