Civil War era.....I think its a childs play sword.... Let me start out,I know nothing about swords.It looks old but you know what they say about that...Lots of photos open to all bids.Sword I see no makers marks,meas 24 1/4 inches end to end...Brass hilt,guard & handle little loose.Leather Sheath is in decent shape.Blade tip is blunt,don't know if it is broken or made that way.There is no cutting edge on blade,dull..........
