Antique Chinese 18thC Qing Blanc De Chine Dehua Whiteware Libation Or Wine Cup Description Antique Chinese 18thC Qing Blanc De Chine Dehua Fujian Whiteware Libation Or Wine Cup. Fine porcelain body with applied peony spray on either side and made to look like libation cups. Measures approx. 6.1 cm tall and 9.5 cm at widest. Date 18thC Qing. Condition is damaged, some signs of wear and use commensurate with age. Chips on the top rim and one associated hairline. Please see pictures. Stephen Long was a famous London antiques dealer at 348 Fulham Road. Passionate about his subject, Stephen wrote for various publications but most notably he was a regular contributor to The World Of Interiors for over two decades. His own home (on three floors above and below the shop) was featured in its inaugural issue and again for the June 2012 copy, as well as in other notable tomes on interior design and decoration. He continued to open his doors to customers until only a few months before his death last year.
