This was from an afluent Westchester County of NY home that is selling the entire content and moving to the South. This is also one of the very rare cases that I was able to talk to the original owner who purchased it in Hong Kong antique shop "Yue Po Chai Antique Co." in the year 1987. She stated this was purchased at the same visit she got the caligraph plague that I also listed. This is a group of three deep red fruit (dates?) -- appears to be made from porcelian, that in old China used on Altar tables, but can be used for decorative purpose for any fine home. It has the stem chipped off on the top and a shallow flake along one piece of the leaves. Nice details. Much better quality than most I have seen. 1 3/4 inches long and 2 inches tall. This group of fruits are in the original condition that she purchase with some of them have little chips already at the time of purchase. All fruits are hand made, hand apinted, not molded.
