Large 19th century framed Chinese export fan made for the western market. Carved mother of pearl fan blades. Very detailed court scene showing gods among men and cherubs, in front of a Greek altar. Sky blue background with superb gold gilt throughout the panel. The fan is fixed inside an early 20th century gilded frame preserving the amazing painted detail.Attached with string causing some small tears in panel, hard to notice.
