This auction is for a great and old Chinese bronze censer. The censer has very well bronze. The surface of whole censer is covered patina. It is heavily inlaid around the outside and on the handles with silver. The silver inlay is very thin, like hair. On one side are two dragons and pattern of Chinese “ 寿 ”—means long live in center. The horns, claws, scales, tail, fin, and even hair of elbow of the dragon are detail inlayed. Sea waves are inlayed on lower part of the censer. On the other are various fine designs. Age: 18/19 th Century Size: It measures 6.5 inches across and 4.5 inches tall. It weight 1656g. Condition: In excellent condition as you can see from pictures. We offer a 48 hour inspection period.
