This is a beautiful old Cameo type Mother of Pearl and pink coral pin of Asian origin. Likely Chinese. This is a pre-owned estate piece. The frame tests as Sterling silver, and has tarnish and age patina. � The rectangular background is cut from a single piece of Mother of Pearl, and has beveled edges. It has a beautiful luster. � The applied lady is hand carved out of pink coral. White areas you see are natural, and are part of the coral. The piece measures about 1 1/2" tall by about 1 1/8" wide. � It is in good, wearable condition. On the back, there is a � hairline in the Mother of Pearl which does not go through to the front of the piece. The clasp is in fine working condition.
