Antique Chinese late Qing/Ch'ing Dynasty mandarin's silk brocade semi-formal dragon robe ( Ji-Fu ), featuring the standard layout of 9 5-claw dragons, sea waves, rock formations, clouds, cranes, bats, flowers, longevity characters and Buddhist and Taoist auspicious symbols against blue ground, with striped lower sleeves and horse-hoof cuffs. Unlined. Condition: Excellent, minor signs of wear, no sign of major alteration. One gilt-copper button, last one on side opening, missing. Measurements: Cuff to cuff 216cm; armpit to armpit 61cm; collar to hem 137cm. Hem is about 88cm wide.
